The public purpose of the special district. 

 

The Stoneybrook Community Development District is a local, special-purpose government entity authorized by Chapter 190 of the Florida Statutes as amended, and established on August 10, 1998 by the Board of County Commissioners of Lee County, Florida Ordinance No. 98-15, as an alternative method of planning, acquiring, operating and maintaining community-wide improvements in planned communities.

The Stoneybrook CDD is located in Lee County, encompasses an approximately 805.74 acres, lying within Sections 25, 35 and 36, Township 46 South, Range 25 east and more precisely being east of Interstate 75 and south of Corkscrew Road.

Infrastructure includes roadways, utilities, earthwork, water management, security, wetland mitigation, parks and recreation
